Ellie Torrez

Ellie Torrez is a trained Actress & Host from London, England. She cut her teeth at the prestigious Brit school from the age of 13, then went on to gain a BA Honours Degree at Dartington College of Arts & on an exchange in America. She has studied in New York, Baltimore & at the Actors Centre in both LA & London & now lives in the United States.

Ellie has worked on many British & International Film & T.V projects including Eastenders, Run Fat Boy Run, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People & Last Chance Harvey. She also starred in the highly acclaimed Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde winning the LA – Shriekfest - Best Actress Award - for her role as Claire Caine. She then went onto to play the feisty Ruby Wilkins in David Cross' Respire & had her own love triangle storyline in the drama series Persona playing Eve Moreau.
 

Her series of high-profile Commercial credits include Patron Tequila, Nokia, Vanish, BBC Eden and 'Cocaine Unwrapped' One Line = One Life. She has also worked with Ant & Dec on their ITV show Red or Black & on Universal Music's - Soft Rock Anonymous Campaign.
 

Ellie Torrez is one of 3 Producers & Company Directors at Tripod Productions - they currently have several Films doing well on the festival circuit and more in development. 

Ellie also enjoys working behind the camera & just finished her directorial debut short film - Milo - which deals with the challenging subject matter of mental heath and bereavement.

Ellie Torrez is also a TV Presenter & Host & has interviewed many high-profile stars and familiar faces including: Billy Zane, Richard Curtis, Gemma Arterton, Bill Nighy, Lily James, Ronan Keating, many of the the cast of Towie, Love Island & even Judge Rinder to name but a few. She has also hosted many live events such as SM Global Catwalk in London and Texas, The London Rolling Film Festival & Camelot Film Festival, Cisco Live in Barcelona & Power Brands. Ellie regularly interviews celebrities on The Red Carpet & at Premieres & Press Junkets for The Fan Carpet.

Jake Francis

Jake Francis is an award-winning actor and filmmaker. Jake has trained at RADA on Actor/Director Workshops with multi-award-winning director Robert Marchand, the London Academy of Media, Film & TV, The Actors Centre London, and the Alchemy of Screen Acting.​

Talented on both sides of the camera, his films have won him Best Director, Best Editor, and numerous Best Film awards, as well as honorable mentions and a peoples choice award.

He has worked on big studio films such as Star Wars & James Bond, as well as indie projects, television, and commercials, including the lead role in a film shown on Amazon Prime. He has also provided voice-over talent for commercials and the TV series 'Watership Down', showing on NetFlix.

​Jake is one of the founders of Tripod Productions Ltd, where he has written, produced, directed, filmed, and completed all the post-production of editing, sound & colour grading on many short films, with feature films currently in pre-production.

Joe Riley

Joe has spent over 20 years in the Business either acting or behind the camera (DOP, Producing & now Directing) or working all aspects of the Technical side of Theatre. Having studied ‘O’ & ‘A’ Level Theatre Arts he bypassed the traditional Drama School route into the business and instead opted to build a skill set in the ‘University of Real Life’ that has proved invaluable in his varied career.

He made his professional stage debut in “Fall of the House of Usher” by Nick Myles in Hampstead and then rapidly jumped behind the camera to follow LTJ Bukem to collect footage for a documentary over 3 years with TunnelVision having met him whilst Freelancing at MTV. His TV debut came at virtually the same time with a role in some idents for CITV. He then met and worked in several pieces with Gareth Ellis-Unwin including “Civil War: England’s Fight For Freedom”, Sky’s “Dream Team” and BBC’s “Jerusalem The Golden” alongside Eddie Marsan for Black History Month. In the last couple of years, Joe has added a couple of TV Pilots to the list, including “The Block” for DTFilms where he worked alongside Karen Bryson MBE. He appeared on the BBC again recently in Matt Lucas’ “Pompidou”.

Joe added many theatre credits to his name in the early noughties including “Bouncers”, “Zoo Story” and some site-specific pieces ‘taking theatre to people who don’t usually encounter it. A phase of Irish plays followed, such as “Shadow of a Gunman” and “Dancehall Days” culminating in a tour of Ireland with “Big Maggie”. More recent theatre credits include the UK Premier of “Count Oederland” at The White Bear and Arcola Theatre’s and the first London revival of ‘Jerusalem’ at Lost Theatre.

During this time Joe has also added several Feature Films, over 40 Short films including co-writing, Producing & Acting in “Tales Of The Legbreaker”, a couple of Web Series, numerous Commercials, Rehearsed Readings, Music Video’s and some Voiceover work to his CV. He has also performed drama on Radio and appeared on the Internet in Sketch Shows and Public Information viral films.
